Directions:

  1. Begin cooking instant brown rice by adding 2 cups of the rice to 2 cups of boiling water and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cook for 6-8 minutes covered, stir occasionally, allow to rest for 3-4 minutes. Set aside while you work on the sauce.
  2. Meanwhile, reconstitute pork in 1 cup of HOT water. Let sit for about 10 minutes and drain.
  3. Add sesame oil into a saute pan and add pork. Saute until golden. Add garlic and caramelize. Add remaining ingredients except for the cooked rice and bring to a simmer. Once at a simmer, add in your cornstarch slurry.
  4. Cook to thicken.
  5. Serve over cooked rice and enjoy.
